Comprehensive privacy notice

We collect the personal data you provide to us directly through the forms on this website, by email, by phone or in business meetings, as well as data generated during the business relationship. This data may include:

a) Identification and contact data: full name, company or organization, job title, email address and phone number.

b) Data related to the requested service: monthly electricity consumption, tariff contracted with your supplier, information about your facilities, site location and other technical information needed to prepare a proposal.

c) Documents you voluntarily upload: electricity bills, drawings, photographs or other files, which may contain identification data, service number, address and billing information.

d) Browsing data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited and time on site, obtained through cookies and similar technologies, as described in section 8.

HUME Energy does not collect sensitive personal data under the Law. Please do not include information of that nature in the forms or in the documents you share with us. If you provide us with personal data of third parties (for example, other members of your company), you represent that you have the corresponding authorization to do so.

Primary purposes (necessary for the legal or business relationship):

a) Addressing your request for contact, a proposal, an assessment or a technical audit.

b) Analyzing your consumption, tariff and facilities to size and structure a proposal for PPA, financial leasing, operations and maintenance or project development.

c) Providing commercial follow-up to your request and, where applicable, formalizing the contractual relationship.

d) Complying with the legal, tax and regulatory obligations applicable to HUME Energy.

e) Managing the relationship with clients, suppliers, investors and business partners.

Secondary purposes (not necessary, but which allow us to serve you better):

f) Sending you information about our services, technical and regulatory content, event invitations and commercial communications.

g) Conducting satisfaction surveys and market research.

h) Preparing statistics and internal analyses about the use of this website.

If you do not want your personal data to be processed for the secondary purposes, you may state so at any time by sending an email to contacto@humeenergy.com with the subject "Refusal of secondary purposes". Your refusal will not be grounds for denying you the services you request.

HUME Energy does not sell, rent or trade your personal data. Your data may be transferred only in the following cases, for which the Law does not require your consent:

a) To parent companies, subsidiaries or affiliates of HUME Energy operating under the same internal processes and policies, for the purposes described in this notice.

b) To competent authorities, where there is a duly founded and motivated requirement or a legal obligation.

c) Where necessary for the performance of a contract entered into, or to be entered into, in the interest of the data subject.

HUME Energy may also share your data with providers that render web hosting, email, cloud storage, analytics and customer relationship management services. These providers act as processors under the Law, process the data solely according to our instructions and are bound to keep it confidential.

Outside the above cases, any transfer will require your express consent.

You have the right to know what personal data we hold about you, what we use it for and the conditions of its use (Access); to request the correction of your data when it is inaccurate or incomplete (Rectification); to have it deleted from our records when you consider it is not being used in accordance with the Law (Cancellation); and to object to the use of your data for specific purposes (Opposition). You may also withdraw, at any time, the consent you have granted us, to the extent permitted by the Law.

To exercise any of these rights, send a request to contacto@humeenergy.com containing:

a) Your full name and a means of communicating the response to you (email or address).

b) A copy of a document proving your identity or, where applicable, the legal representation of the data subject.

c) A clear and precise description of the personal data with respect to which you seek to exercise any of the rights.

d) Any other element or document that helps locate the data.

HUME Energy will respond to your request within a maximum of twenty business days from its receipt. If the request is granted, it will take effect within the following fifteen business days after the response is communicated. These periods may be extended once, for an equal period, when justified by the circumstances. Exercising ARCO rights is free of charge; only justified shipping costs or the cost of reproduction in copies or other formats may be charged.

In addition to exercising ARCO rights, you may limit the use or disclosure of your personal data by sending an email to contacto@humeenergy.com. In particular, you may request enrollment in our internal exclusion list to stop receiving commercial communications.

HUME Energy has implemented reasonable administrative, technical and physical security measures to protect your personal data against damage, loss, alteration, destruction or unauthorized use, access or processing. The documents you upload through this site are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored with access restricted to the personnel who need to consult them to address your request.

This website uses cookies and similar technologies for its proper functioning, to remember your preferences and to obtain browsing statistics that allow us to improve the site. Cookies are text files stored on your device. You may disable or delete them from your browser settings; however, some site functions may stop working correctly. The data obtained through these means is not associated with your identity, unless you provide it to us through a form.

We will keep your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this notice and, thereafter, for the retention periods required by the applicable legal, tax and regulatory provisions. Once those periods have elapsed, the data will be blocked and, in due course, securely deleted.

HUME Energy may modify or update this privacy notice at any time to address legislative changes, internal policies or new requirements for the provision of its services. Any modification will be published on this same page with the date of last update. We recommend consulting it periodically.

If you consider that your right to the protection of personal data has been violated by any conduct of HUME Energy, you may turn to the competent authority for the protection of personal data in Mexico.
