Regulatory framework
Permitting and regulation: we handle it
Under Mexico's Electricity Sector Law in force since 2025, systems below 0.7 MW operate as distributed generation and require no generation permit. Between 0.7 and 20 MW, the interconnected self-supply modality applies, with a simplified filing before the National Energy Commission (CNE). HUME Energy sizes your system considering the most efficient regulatory route and manages the interconnection with CFE and, where applicable, the CNE permit.
